Read the Monthly Newsletter here.

THE COLLEGE and CAREER CENTER provides references materials for students interested in college. Catalogs, view books, applications, and computer software are available for student research. Secondary school reports, letters of recommendations, and testing materials are handled by the center staff. College Fair, Senior Honors, SAT & ACT, FAFSA, CSS Profiles and college representative visits are all part of the services.

SCHOLARSHIP OFFICE - Santa Monica High School receives information about scholarships from national organizations, Colleges and Universities, State organizations, local groups and the Samohi endowment funds. There are scholarships available for students at all grade levels and interests. These are mostly funds for continuing the student's education, there are some scholarships for travel and book awards.

There is an incredible program to gather information and help students make informed decisions about colleges and career paths. Bridges - Choices Planner has a database of 8,000+ colleges, technical schools, and graduate schools. In seconds you can search for schools by location, programs offered, admission policies, and almost any criteria imaginable. Courtesy of the Regional Occupational Program at Santa Monica High School, there is an account to make the Bridges - Choices Planner available to you.
