SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
We are very fortunate at Santa Monica High School to have an abundance of scholarship and honor opportunities available to you. This booklet has been put together as a tool to help you with the scholarship application process.
You will find the following:
- A list of our Special Senior Honors
- A listing by the month the applications are due
- A listing by criteria
- A listing by area of interest
- An alphabetical description listing of all scholarships (as of the date of printing)
- A Samohi Local scholarship checklist
- The Samohi General Application (due March 1 or before)
- State and National Scholarships
Your completed Samohi Application will serve you for many of the scholarships. The application represents you. Fill it out completely. Access the on-line application at:

Submit the highlighted checklist and seven copies of the Samohi Application printed back to back on one sheet of paper. You may attach an additional sheet if necessary. If financial need is a requirement, attach one copy of your family's Federal Income Tax 1040 Form.
Scholarship amounts and criteria listed are based on previous years and are subject to change each year.
Our Samohi Alumni Association, who continues to support Samohi through Scholarships, sponsorship of the Senior Honors Evening and many other projects, prints this booklet for you.
Remember to review the monthly scholarship bulletins for additional scholarships that arrive during the year.
