RULES AND DEADLINES
MUSICAL COMPOSITION RULES
*not to exceed 5 minutes on a CD (two copies); write name on CD & on case, score pages
*must include a written score, notation software ok, up to 8.5” x11”
*composition may be performed by the student, a group , or third party
*recording may be in real time or use sound library-generated perf. by student; -- save as .mp3 file only
*Presentation rules are specific; get detail sheet online or at College Center
VISUAL ARTS RULES
*any 2-dimensional media is acceptable, including computer-generated, not to exceed 3/8” thickness
*original artworks only; 24” X 30” MAXIMUM including mat *put entry form in manila envelope w/clasp & tape to back *protective plastic cover recommended; no frames
PHOTOGRAPHY RULES
*original prints, groups of images, or collages; may be black and white or color, conventional or digital
*no added graphics or lettering
*mounted on mat not to exceed 11” X 14”
*put entry form in manila envelope w/clasp & tape to back
*protective plastic cover recommended; no frames
LITERATURE RULES
*can be fiction or non-fiction; prose, poetry, or drama
*must not exceed 2,000 words
*submit one original and two copies in a manila envelope w/clasp
*number each page and write your name on the back of each page
DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY RULES
*2 to 5 minutes on a DVD (two copies) in a case; -- save as file on disc as .flv file only
*up to 3 dancers may perform
*music & dancers must be credited
