Visiting School When Classes Are In Session

Directions -
I-10 west to the 4th Street Exit. Turn left onto 4th Street.  Immediately turn left (as if you are getting back on the I-10), however, veer right - do not get back on the I-10. You will be on Olympic Boulevard. On your right side of the car you will pass the baseball field, tennis courts and parking lot. Turn right into the alley (between parking lot & gas station) and again into the NORTH PARKING LOT. Security will direct you to the guest parking. If you pass Lincoln Boulevard (the next stop light), you have gone too far.

All gates are locked between 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. except the North Parking Lot which will be open to traffic and pick-up all day and the walk-in gate at 6th and Pico. This is where you should park if you are going to be at school for a short time or are picking up a sick child.

Drop-off and Pick-up -
You may drop-off and pick-up in the student parking lot, on Olympic Boulevard or at 7th and Michigan.

• Stating Monday, January 5th, 2009 the Fourth Street gate by the DoublleTree Hotel will be open for access to the campus before the 8:15am bell.  This is a trial to see if the entrance will help students.
• There are NO U-TURNS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON 7th OR MICHIGAN.
• There is NO STOPPING ON PICO BOULEVARD. Tickets will be issued.
• There is NO DROP-OFF IN THE CIRCLE.  Pick-up is allowed in the circle after 4:00 PM.
• Any inconvenience this may cause you is for the safety of your child.

Parents -
If you are helping on campus you may park in the student parking lot in the row of parallel parking spaces or the spaces at the ends of rows. These spaces are not assigned. If none of these spaces are available and you park somewhere else, leave a note on your car saying where you can be found or you will be ticketed.

Visitors -
All visitors on campus during the school day must have a valid reason for being on campus such as a parent/teacher conference, classroom visitation, volunteering, or a meeting. When first arriving on campus, all visitors must go to the principal's office and sign in. Unauthorized visitors will be escorted off campus by security personnel.
