SANTA MONICA-MALIBU UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT SMC Programs for SAMOHI Students
SAMOHI students have to opportunity to take classes at SMC for high school credit and college credit. These classes are free to high school students (except students must purchase any supplies required by the instructor).

Concurrent Enrollment This is when a high school student takes an SMC class on the SMC campus. Please see the SMC Concurrent Enrollment website for restrictions and instructions on how to enroll: http://www.smc.edu/admissions/HS_Concurrent_Instructions.htm In order to get high school credit for classes taken at SMC, students must request a transcript to be sent to SAMOHI. For instructions on how to request a transcript, please visit the SMC website: http://www.smc.edu/apps/pub.asp?Q=5&B=1 Dual Enrollment This is when a SAMOHI student takes an SMC class on the SAMOHI campus. These classes are taught by SMC instructors but they use our classrooms. The purpose of the Dual Enrollment Program is to provide you, as a high school student, with the opportunity to take tuition-free college level courses at your high school. If you are interested in taking a Santa Monica College Dual Enrollment class, please complete the following steps. Step 1: Apply to SMC OnlineYou will need an email account to register. You may use your own personal account or an account through a web-vendor such as yahoo. Once you have an email account and are ready to register online for your SMC classes, log on to the Web and follow the instructions below.
Step 2: Consent FormGo to the following link to print a Dual Enrollment Consent/Add Form: (see below) Step 3: RegistrationPlease submit the signed consent form to Mr. Green, SAMOHI Dual Enrollment Coordinator, in B101.
