The Sierra Club's Student Environmental Leadership Trainings

are week-long programs, led by the nation's top student activists, to teach you how to develop strong, effective groups that can tackle serious environmental issues. Throughout the week, the program focuses on helping you prepare to take what you have learned and put it to the test at your school. Once you're back at school, you and the other great student activists you've met can join together to create a strong network working to help the Earth. Of course, the program isn't all work and no play. In addition to the main focus of the program, you can expect to enjoy:
a.. Guest speakers from the environmental movement
b.. Hikes, games, and general hanging out with good people
c.. Delicious vegetarian cooking
Cost: The subsidized cost of the program is $120, which covers tuition, room and board, and local transportation to and from the site. If you are not already a member of the Sierra Club, a $25 student membership is also required (entitling you to all the benefits of Club membership). Full refunds will be available until 3 weeks before each program if you are unable to attend.
