Painting 1 - Grid Project
Students copy an existing color painting onto illustration board by mapping out agrid. They use the grid lines to find the shapes within the squares, noting value and color shifts and the end of objects. Once they have found the basic shapes, they refer to the color painting to fill in the color and refer to the color chart to find out how to mix colors.
