They are accepted after an application and interview process and are expected to have a committment to community service, involvement with their school and community, and leadership abilities. This summer, the class had the opportunity to participate in a ropes course at Camp Hess Kramer as well as participate in a Leadership Camp put together by the California Association of Student Councils.
