Year Course (5 credits per semester)
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in Intermediate Algebra A/B.Statistics, an introductory non-calculus based college level statistics course, is of particular interest to students who plan to focus on social sciences in college.

This course includes four major topics:

• exploring data/observing trends;
• planning a study;
• probability through models, and
• using statistical inference to predict.

Graphing calculators and appropriate computer sortware will be used.

Students who pass the College Board Advanced Placement Exam in May, may earn one semester of college credit.
