Project Safe Zone is committed to promoting awareness and sensitivity around the issues of sexism, homophobia, and gender equity. This program strives to provide students a non-discriminatory, inclusive environment, which facilitates the knowledge and empowerment to both recognize and challenge stereotypes and prejudices.

Project Safe Zone's intensive, one-day conference, held each spring at Santa Monica High School, uses a wide variety of interactive activities to encourage participants to create a "safe" space in which to feel both respected and supported.
