About
Roberts Art Gallery is dedicated to promoting and advancing education, interest and insight in contemporary visual arts.
Exhibits
Exhibits at the gallery reflect traditional modes of artistic expression, current artistic trends and when possible, cross-curricular themes aimed at supplementing and enhancing the varied course curricular subjects from all traditional high school disciplines taught at Samohi. These exhibits primarily feature the work of professional artists from the local community and student work from the advanced placement and senior art students.
Hours
The gallery is open during the week by appointment for classes and the public at large, at lunch during school days. It is maintained and managed by students who enroll in a gallery training class.
LocationThe location of Roberts Art Gallery within Santa Monicas High School's campus grounds provides a unique opportunity to add to and expand the learning process through the display of original professional works of art.
