Samohi is offering Intensive Intervention Summer School (IISS). Only students who have failed (F) a class can take classes. If there is space available, students who have D grades will be allowed to enroll, according to seniority. Enrollment goes through the student's advisor/counselor. Students who attend other schools, but who live in Santa Monica may attend summer school. They must bring in proof of residency (utility bill) and a copy of their transcripts. Students who miss more than 2 days may not receive credits. The tardy policy is in place for summer school.

All students must have a signed IISS Contract turned in before the student will be considered for enrollment. Students who are enrolled in summer school will be getting a letter during the last week of school. There are no “get ahead” classes.
