We are pleased to announce summer school courses at Samohi. This year we will be running our traditional credit recovery courses for students who failed courses as well as courses for students who wish to take courses early to get ahead. Both programs are free of charge.
Intensive Intervention Summer School (IISS)
Priority will be given to students according to their grade level, with rising seniors having the highest priority.  As spaces become available, we will accommodate students who need to repeat a class to raise their grade. There are no guarantees of enrollment.  Letters of acceptance into IISS will go out to enrolled students the week of June 10, 2014. If you have questions concerning IISS, please talk with your child’s advisor.

We will post ID numbers on the website.   Late applications will be added to the bottom of the wait list, in the order they are received.

Dual Enrollment (with SMC)

We will be offering SMC World History and US History courses on our campus.  These courses are college classes that are taught by SMC instructors.  Students will receive college credit and high school credit for these courses, provided they submit an SMC transcript to their Advisor after completing the course.  In order to enroll in the SMC classes, students must apply online, take an English assessment at SMC, pay their fees (about $276) and buy their own books.

Enrollment in the SMC History courses are on a first come, first serve basis.
